Instructions for
ORAL presenters:
The IWA 17th Small Water and Wastewater Systems and 9th Resource Oriented Sanitation Conferences 2024 will be a physical conference where authors will make their presentations in person.
As you prepare for your presentation, please note that you are requested to submit the files below. Guidelines on uploading the files are included at the end of these instructions. Please upload your files not later than 31st October.
1. PowerPoint presentation
Guidelines for preparing the files:

The presentation should be in a PPT (PowerPoint) format and not any other formats.

A preferred template has been provided on the conference website - LINK)

If using your own template, remember to include a title slide.

Add your contact information to the last slide. This is important for delegates to be able to contact you with questions or comments after the event.

Please bear in mind that presentation slots are 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes for discussions or questions
Uploading your File:
To upload your files, please follow the steps below:

Login into your profile/account here.

Enter your username [Email Address/CPF/ID document/Passport number] and password.

Once logged into your Profile click the 'My Papers' tab on the left-hand side.

Click on the title of the paper you want to submit the presentation to.

On the page that opens, click on the "Presentation File" tab.

Scroll down to "Upload poster/presentation file" section and upload the presentation file (accepted formats: ppt or pptx).
Please upload your files not later than 31stOctober 2024.
Important note:
The specifications given above will be checked at the time of submission and files that do not comply will not be accepted. You will be notified in this case.

*Due to the high quality and volume of submissions, as well as the limitations of our event’s program schedule, some works have been invited to present as posters. This adjustment allows us to provide selected authors with the opportunity to share their research with a broad audience, ensuring greater visibility and engagement. Poster presentations offer a unique platform for concise and impactful communication, enabling authors to highlight key findings and interact directly with attendees in a more personalized setting. This format fosters valuable networking opportunities and allows for meaningful exchanges of ideas. We believe this approach will enhance the visibility of your work and provide a rewarding experience at the conference.
